My friends and I have been really enjoying slowly leveling up and getting strong enough to survive in higher level zones while we explore the game (currently around level 50). With this new patch we're suddenly having levels thrown at us. WebThe Adventure Guide is something that they just added to the game, yesterday, and while I understand how it can be a bit annoying, it is merely a temporary thing. You seem to enjoy the game so far, so try to ignore it a little bit, as it'll go away quite soon. Have fun in-game. That's a big relief.

WebI tried on my alt accounts and the one that has the Character Adventure Guide gives this to other characters made on it too. The one without doesn't. Since achievements are also an account bound thing in GW2 I'd wager this is decided randomly on a per-account basis during creation/activation.
