WebSep 19, 2015 · I went to the Chrysler factory parts site and couldn't find it either...I typed in everything from parking lock out mechanism to pink thingy and the closest I came was to a new knob for the shifter. Long story short and end of violent rant, thank you for this post. WebChanged out the "pink thingy" in a 2007 Dodge Charger after it wouldn't shift out of park. The original is plastic with a thin hook that the spring attaches to. The little hook part is what breaks, and once you get it out, you'll see why. ...
