WebJul 28, 2015 · One method is the cave-in method. Dig out a block of stone above the aquifier, at least 3 layers high and at least 5x5 wide. Then let it cave in on the aquifier layer. The falling down rocks will replace the aquifier blocks and turn them into normal blocks which you can then dig through. WebMost likely cause of this is using DFHack improperly (always turn off reveal before discovering caverns) but there's still hope and fixes. As below, DFHack has a 'feature' command you can use to undiscover, then 'discover' the caverns again. If you're using DFHack, go there for a fix first.

WebTo stop the stream, I'd use pumps - it'll be messy but doable. Make sure you've channelled out some of the brook tiles (if applicable), as far away from your fort as possible and upriver from your problem.
