Ergo, if the tweak breaks fsx, then just copy the original cfg back to it's resting place. Sorted. I tried this tweak last week (on the original cfg file) and saw fps jump from around 25 to nearer 40 ish. AMD 6300 @ 4.05 Ghz. WebMay 19, 2009 · Yep tried letting FSX recreate the cfg file. Actually got slightly better performance with a clean cfg file then made a few more tweaks and decided to go back to original file. The sim is pretty smooth depending where I fly and FPS are pretty good too. Will set smallpartsrejectradius to 1.0 and see what happens.
